A cheaper Loom alternative
for teams that are growing.
Loom charges per seat. We don't. Every Pixelmatic team plan now includes unlimited users, so adding the sixth person, or the fiftieth, doesn't change your bill.
One price for the whole team. No per-seat fees.
One price, any size
Every team plan includes unlimited users. Headcount never changes the bill.
No per-seat math
Add the sixth person, or the fiftieth, at no extra cost.

Why you're here
The thing that makes Loom expensive.
Per-seat pricing means every teammate you add raises the bill, whether or not they record much. The person who makes one walkthrough a month costs the same as the person who lives in the tool. The cost scales with headcount, not with use.
Why we did it
We removed user limits on every team plan.
A friend told us the user cap was the one part of our pricing that didn't feel right. His example: a company with six people clears a tier built for five, and suddenly pays the same as a company with twenty-five. He was right. So we took the cap off. Bring your whole team.
Side by side
Pixelmatic vs Loom on price.
Loom prices use the Business tier at $24/seat billed monthly. Verify on Loom's current pricing page before relying on these numbers.
| Pixelmatic | Loom | |

| Pricing model | By tier, not by seat | Per seat (per Creator) |

| 1 person, paid | from $12/mo | $24/mo |
| 5 people, paid | from $29/mo total | $120/mo |
| 15 people, paid | from $29/mo total | $360/mo |
| 50 people, paid | from $29/mo total | $1,200/mo |

One column scales with every hire. The other doesn't.
More than a lower bill
Cheaper, without trading down.
- One price, however big your team
- Unlimited users on every team plan. A team of five and a team of fifty pay the same.
- Priced by usage, not headcount
- Tiers go up with what you publish and store, never because you hired someone.
- Library-wide search
- Find the moment across every recording the team has made, not just inside one video.
- A free recorder underneath
- Unlimited browser recording, no time cap, no account. The screenshot editor too.
And if you care about what your videos look like, here's how Pixelmatic keeps every recording on-brand, with recorder, branding, and player settings set once for the whole team.
Being honest
Where Loom still wins.
Cheaper isn't the only thing that matters. Here's what Loom does that we don't, so you can decide cleanly.
- Maturity.
- Loom is older, with more integrations and a bigger user base.
- Free starter generosity.
- Their free tier hosts every video (up to 25 per person) on their side.
- AI features.
- Loom has shipped a number of AI features Pixelmatic doesn't have yet.
The honest call
When is the switch worth it?
Switch to Pixelmatic if you're
- Teams of six or more, where per-seat pricing has started to sting.
- Teams with a mix of heavy and light recorders, paying full freight for people who barely record.
- Teams that expect to grow, and don't want the tool bill to grow in lockstep.
Stay on Loom if you're
- Teams of one or two, where per-seat pricing barely registers.
- Teams already locked into Loom integrations they rely on.
- Teams that specifically want the AI features Loom offers.
If this is you, stay with Loom. No hard feelings.
