1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Pixelmatic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Pixelmatic is a browser-based screen recording platform that allows users to capture, style, and share screen recordings. The Service includes free and paid tiers with features such as screen and camera recording, audio recording, transcription, team collaboration, and cloud hosting.

3. Accounts and Organizations

You must create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Organizations are multi-tenant workspaces where members collaborate. Organization owners and admins are responsible for managing member access and permissions.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Record content without the consent of all parties where required by law
• Upload or distribute malicious software or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the recordings and content you create using the Service. By uploading content to the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and deliver your content as necessary to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion. Pricing is per organization, not per seat.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixelmatic and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request a copy of your data before account deletion.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
