Welcome to Pixelmatic

Why?

We were using a screen recorder by Dropbox, called Capture, which they shut down. We couldn't find anything that quite met all our needs, so we built our own.

What we needed

These were the things we needed, and they have been our guiding requirements as we delivered version 1 of Pixelmatic:

• Quick and easy to use - no downloads required (runs in the browser)
• Consistent branding, especially for teams - shared org settings, synced in realtime
• A single place for our team to find and store all our videos - org-wide video list
• Quick and easy to share with our customers - public page on Pixelmatic plus an embeddable player

The recorder is totally free to use. Record as many videos as you like and store them locally. You only need a subscription when you want the org features and sharing your videos via Pixelmatic.
